Have a theme in mind, such as space, dinosaurs, unicorns, sports, princesses, gaming or a favourite colour? Describe it in the custom cake form.

Picking the Right Size for the Guest List

The size you need depends on the number of guests, and on whether adults and kids will both have cake. When in doubt, order slightly bigger, because parties tend to run long and someone always wants seconds. Our simple guide to how many people a cake serves can help you decide. Hosting 20 or more? Ask for a larger or custom cake.

Allergy-Friendly Party Planning

Before you order, ask other parents about allergies. If any guest has a nut, egg, dairy or gluten allergy, tell your baker when you order and confirm ingredients before you buy. Allergen-free options depend on the individual baker, so never assume a cake is safe unless the baker confirms it. For classrooms, check the school's food policy first.

Choosing Flavours Kids Actually Eat

Simple usually wins with children:

  1. Vanilla: the safest crowd-pleaser.
  2. Chocolate: a reliable favourite.
  3. Funfetti-style: sprinkles baked in, if your baker offers it.
  4. Strawberry or berry: lighter and popular with younger guests.

Mention your preferred flavour when you order, since availability depends on the baker.
